Most of our leases are for one year and end automatically at the end of the term specified by the lease. Our leases usually start in mid-August and end in mid-August. There is no need to provide notice that you do not intend to renew your lease. However, we do offer the option to sign a two-year lease if requested, and you may also submit a Lease Renewal reqeust anytime during the term of your lease or during the fall and spring open enrollment period.
If you wish to to renew your lease, you and your current roommates or new roomates (if any) may submit Rental Applications with a signed Lease Renewal Form (see forms on the Leasing Page of the website). Your applications will be considered for renewal. Once your request has been approved, you and your roommates will need to sign a contract for a second year. We accept rental applications and leasing renewal requests during the the pre-leasing open enrollment period, which begins every fall and continues into the spring each year.
If you are students still receiving financial support from your parents, you will need to have them fill out p. 3 of the Rental Application. Otherwise, we will consider your application based on the credit information you provide. If you are renewing for a second year, your parents will need to update p. 3 of the Rental Application.
Our leasing policy is that smoking of any kind inside or outside of our properties is not permitted. We advertise our propeties as non-smoking units. Please review the terms of our Lease on the Leasing page of this website.
